The last time we visited Sporting Khalsa was on 8th September 2018 and we were beaten 1-0.
Martin McIntosh had just been appointed as our new manager and the team was :

We all knew that this was going to be a tough game and Khalsa’s 2-1 win over Carlton last night serves as a reminder. 
Their home record is : P8, W4, D1, L3, F16, A12, Points 13. 
Khalsa have proved tough opposition in all four of their home games against promotion contenders, Carlton, Coleshill, Halesowen and Stamford. Although they have only beaten Carlton, the three defeats have all been by just a single goal : Coleshill 0-1, Halesowen 2-3 and Stamford 1-2.  

This is one of those games when our promotion rivals will be really hoping we slip up.

Khalsa will be motivated and given extra confidence after last night's win but we will be motivated too. We will be keen to avenge the early season defeat by Khalsa at the NMG. And as Duncan Payne said, we have a secret weapon, our fans. Make no mistake, players are motivated by the support they receive from fans, and especially at away matches. The bond between players, management, owners and fans has never been stronger.

The Sporting Khalsa match is our halfway point in the season. We will have played Khalsa twice and every other team once except for Shepshed Dynamo. Our results so far have been outstanding and if we repeat them in the second half of the season we have a great chance of automatic promotion. 
At the Supporters Group meeting last night we spoke about the extra travelling distances if we are promoted and the need to increase fares on the Supporters bus. Also Mark Frost told us that work on the new floodlights is scheduled to start this Monday and fniished in time for the Stamford match.

The weather forecast for Willenhall tomorrow is cold and wet but the good news is that Khalsa's ground offers plenty of cover and seating. Khalsa's normal gate is only around 150 so there will be loads of room under cover if there is rain so don't be put off from going. They are hoping for a 250 plus gate tomorrow.

    






I think It's going to be a tight game so let's get behind the team and enjoy another away day.

 Here we go again. Conditions are not great, its dull, cold, wet and windy. One change from the Wisbech game. Alex Troke returns in place of Ollie Brown-Hill who is on the bench.

EX ROBIN WATCH -  Marcus Hoeness scored after eleven minutes to put Portsmouth 1-0 against Morecambe 

Good chance for Campbell But the ball runs away from him.  Terrific start by Ilkeston putting Khalsa under sustained pressure but nothing to show       2-1     52 minutes
