Its an artificial pitch at Sutton Coldfield and its 5 minutes to kickoff

We're off Ilkeston first to attack. Corner to Ilkeston. Then corner to Sutton.

Very disappointing result and performance today. This was a vital and winnable game and once again we came up short. When you need a bit of luck it doesn't come. Sutton scored a flukey goal right on half time to give them the edge. It looked like a cross but it sailed perfectly into the top corner. In the second half Atkinson broke through but chose to pass rather than shoot from a really good position. Then right at the death a chance fell to Tyrell but his close range shot brought an outstanding save from Sutton's keeper. I'd say Sutton edged the first half when there were very few chances but Ilkeston made a big effort in the second half. However Sutton's second half game plan was to pack their defence in order to hold on to their priceless lead. Ilkeston had plenty of the ball but couldn't find a way through and Sutton will feel really pleased with their defending. Ilkeston's best player in my opinion was midfielder Danny Gordon.
