The pitch is very wet and soft. It's a decent crowd as the teams come out. Darlo in white shirts  black shorts, Ilkeston in red and blue stripes, white shorts.  Ilkeston to kick off, we're away.

Goal for Darlo on 10 minutes , corner headed home.

yet another headed goal for Darlo. 3-0.  Darlo are a good side and they don't need the help they are getting from the referee. 35 minutes gone.

A heavy pitch, tough opponents and a seemingly weak ref is making it very hard for Ilkeston. The officials were applauded off at half time by the home supporters in the stand.  Second half is underway.

Gordon gets shot in but its deflected for a corner. Good run by Udoh but his shot is blocked. Another Darlo sub after 67 minutes

Saving tackle from Ryan Head.  Burrows shot saved at other end.  Then Ilkeston very close as Burrows shot tipped over. Gate 1021.

Darlo pinch 10 yards every throw in and get away with it. Great save by Hannis from Darlo breakaway. It's been much better from Ilkeston this half. 2 minutes added time. Another Ilkeston chance but Atkinson's shot goes wide. 

Sounds like a much better second half from the lads! Tough times for the young team but a learning curve which will make them stronger in the long run. Thanks for the updates Matchman and have a good journey down the A1!
