A look at current form

.

A look at current form ;

Chasetown are hitting form at the right time with 7 straight wins

Ilkeston are now ten games unbeaten (7 wins and 3 draw)

Cambridge have been beaten just once in the last nine matches (6 wins and 2 draws)

Spalding have won 4 of their last 5 matches

Carlton have now gone 12 matches without getting the same result consecutively. There seems to be a pattern  ie DW,DW,DWL,DWL.  So if this sequence continues they will draw with Halesowen.

Improving Daventry have lost only one of their last seven matches (3 wins and 3 draws)

Belper have gone 9 matches since a draw (5 wins and 4 defeats)

Lowly Sutton Coldfield have won their last 2 matches (against Halesowen and Bedworth)

What’s happened to Bedworth. After a run of 10 games without defeat they’ve only picked up 1 point in their last 5 matches

Loughborough Dynamo have now gone 7 matches without a win (2 draws and 5 defeats)

Shepshed Dynamo have only won once in their last 10 matches (3 draws, 6 defeats)

Soham Town Rangers are winless inter last 6 matches (1 draw, 5 defeats)

Wisbech have lost their last nine matches.

It’s tough at the top

Northern Premier League Premier Division

A few weeks ago, we thought Ilkeston had hit a bad patch with 5 points from four matches

Matlock have had a far worse bad patch. Our Derbyshire neighbours spent a long time at the top but an awful run including no wins in their last six matches has seen them slip to third, eight points behind current leaders Buxton.

The Bucks by contrast have hit a purple patch and are unbeaten in twelve. (8 wins and 4 draws.) Buxton are currently top with four games to play followed br South Shields, 2 points behind.

Our other Derbyshire neighbours Mickleover have made a remarkable climb away from the relegation places. They are unbeaten in their last five (3 wins and 2 draws) and have hauled themselves up the table from 20th to 13th.
