Bedworth are mid table. Their record is : P35, W13, D7, L15, F44, A50, GD-6, Points 46
Their home record is quite decent P17, W8, D4, L5, F22, A16, GD +6 Points 28
Bedworth have only won one of their last ten matches and while no game can be taken for granted it seems like a good time to be playing against them.
Their average home attendance is 209
Their top scorer is Ryan Nesbitt with 7 goals
They have a poor record against the Top 5 teams and have picked up just one point:
Halesowen (H) lost 1-2
Ilkeston (A) lost 1-3
Chasetown (H) lost 1-3
Stamford (A) lost 1-4
Belper (A) lost 0-5
Chasetown (A) draw 1-1
Belper (H) lost 1-2
Stamford (H) lost 0-3
Halesowen (A) lost 0-3
Ilkeston (H) 16 April
Two Ilkeston wins over the Easter weekend against Bedworth on Saturday and Shepshed on Monday could see us crowned as Champions
Halesowen have a tough game at Belper on Saturday and Chasetown have a tricky game against Sporting Khalsa on Monday

Bedworth’s highest attendance this season was 328 for the visit of Halesowen. There’s a good chance that the Halesowen attendance could be beaten this Saturday as we are likely to take around 150 supporters. There will be around 80 on the two Supporters Group coaches and many more making their own way. If you’re travelling by car, Bedworth’s ground (CV12 8NN) is on the outskirts of Coventry and it’s only one hour away. M1 and M69 takes you within 7 miles of the ground.
Here are a few Google reviews of The Bedworth’s Oval ground and facilities :
Jonathan Randle 2 months ago Hadn't been in a while, I used to go with my dad when I was a kid and went with my dad and 6 year old daughter today (she surprisingly enjoyed it) it was great to see the club hasn't changed much apart from a new playing surface, still nice grub and a cuppa, my dad even had a mug of bovril, the game itself was entertaining, as was the language from both sets of coaching staff, 3 goals and 2 red cards unfortunately Bedworth were the losing team but a cracking afternoon 👍
James Farnhill 2 months ago This was a great facility for my daughter's football tournament. The pitch was, apparently, great and the spectating facilities were good. About the only difficult bit was that access was via the car park so I ended up wandering all the way round the fence to Miners Welfare Park to find the entry! It also struck me as quite a small car park on match day although for the event I went to it was fine.
Dave Evans 7 months ago The new bar adds so much to an already class football facility one of the best in the our league ( unless you prefer a grass pitch)
Kelly Starkey 10 months ago Friendly club with great facilities
Andrew Parsons a year ago The new clubhouse is quality. Nice big bar area with superb conference facilities, will be excellent to watch a non league match once COVID sods off
Mark Welch a year ago Excellent facility that has undergone a transformation that will surprise many who haven't visited since 2018.An excellent clubhouse with modern fixtures and fittings which will appeal to everyone visiting.Absolutely worth a visit...and a COVID safe policy will greet you.

Only two days to go before our trip to play against Bedworth United. Two days after that on Easter Monday, it's Shepshed at home. So in four days time we could be Champions. I'm confident that we can get this done. We're due a comfortable win and it would be brilliant if it happens at Bedworth. What a turnout it should then be on Easter Monday.
What a season it's been so far. Only four defeats in 35 matches P35 W25 D6 L4 F91 A36 GD+55 Points 81
Can we reach 90 points and 100 goals?
The Shepshed game is the one I fear. They could force a draw causing us to go into the final match needing all three points. The big thing in our favour though, is that we have such a strong squad we are able to change things without weakening the team if we need to. As long as Saul Deeney doesnt get injured.
My predictions for the final three games :
Bedworth United 0 Ilkeston Town 2
Ilkeston Town 3 Shepshed Dynamo 2
Wisbech Town 1 Ilkeston Town 3
Champions - Ilkeston Town
Playoff winners - Stamford

Bedworth v Ilkeston - Sat 16 Apr 2022
As the season draws to its close, all results become important. This is particularly so for teams involved in promotion and relegation.
Ilkeston, Halesowen, Chasetown and Stamford are seeking the automatic promotion spot hoping they can win and the others will falter.
The final playoff position is contested by Belper and Carlton. Carlton’s win at Belper last week gives them an outside of catching the Nailers but they need to make up a 4 point deficit in their remaining 3 matches.
Sporting Khalsa who were promoted from Step 4 have had a better than expected season. They are currently 8th, three points behind Coleshill.
Only eight points separate Cambridge in 9th place and Corby who are 15th so all of those mid-table teams will be trying to finish as high as possible.
At the bottom it’s between Histon and Wisbech for who can avoid automatic relegation. Histon are currently 3 points ahead of Wisbech
Here are this Saturday’s fixtures
Sat 16th Apr 2022
Bedworth Utd v Ilkeston Town
Belper Town v Halesowen Town
Cambridge City v Carlton Town
Daventry Town v Yaxley
Shepshed D v Soham T Rangers
Spalding United v Corby Town
Sporting Khalsa v Loughborough D
Stamford v Coleshill Town
Sutton Coldfield v Histon
Wisbech Town v Chasetown
Follow the regular score updates from the above matches throughout the afternoon, here on WhiteBall.
Please note that the following matches kick off early : Belper (1pm), Spalding (1 30 pm) and Sporting Khalsa (12 30 pm)

From West Midlands Express & Star :
Title-chasers Halesowen and Chasetown in need of favours to boost hopes
It is a big weekend in the race for the Northern Premier, Midlands title – though both Chasetown and Halesowen Town are desperate for favours from elsewhere.
The duo trail Ilkeston Town by three points with three games remaining, and both have an inferior goal difference. So while the Scholars and the Yeltz will be hoping to triumph at Wisbech Town (3pm) and Belper Town (1pm), respectively, they will be just as interested in Ilkeston’s trip to Bedworth United.
Elsewhere in the division, Sporting Khalsa are at home to Loughborough Dynamo (12..30pm).

I think Chasetown might find it hard at Wisbech

And Belper still need points to secure a play-off spot, so Halesowen have got a tough game this afternoon.
We've just got to take care of our own business though. Just hope tinkerman Gandi's luck holds for another couple of games.

Good move by Bedworth but Fenton intercepts. Free kick to Ilkeston in decent Position. Lomax puches clear then Gibson fouled just outside area. Fenton lining up a shot. It's just too high. 0-0 20 mons

Against the run of play but we're behind. All to do now. Bedworth's very tall keeper is catching everything.
