Joe has announced that he will be leaving Ilkeston Town after they won the Northern Premier league tile gaining promotion to step three. Joe originally was signed for Ilkeston Town by Kevin Wilson just before the club went bust but a year later he signed for Ilkeston FC. He went on to play for Nuneaton Town, Buxton, Boston and Gainsborough Trinity before returning to the new Manor Ground. On Facebook Joe claims to have played 270 games for the club although we believe they were not all first team games. We wish Joe every success in what ever he does in the future. I am sure he will be popular wherever he goes!
