    Promotion and Relegation rules

    .

    The rules on non-league promotion & relegation for the 2022/23 season.

    The table below shows what will happen in each division. (As ever, clubs withdrawing during the season could result in reprieves & changes.)



    So for Ilkeston's league (Step 3) it's :

    Promoted : Champions and winners of four team playoffs

    Relegated : Bottom four teams

    Southern League Premier Central :  2022-23

    Promotion contenders:  Any two from : Tamworth, Coalville Town, AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Nuneaton Borough, Bromsgrove Sporting, Bedford Town, Ilkeston Town

    Relegation favourites: Kings Langley. St Ives Town, Hitchin Town, Redditch United
