The next Che Adams

Contrary to what some people believe, Ilkeston's academy contributes to the finances of Ilkeston Football Club. It also gives the Club access to a steady stream of quality youngsters. Several players who have come through our academy have gone on to play in the Football League and have earned the Club significant money through transfer fees. So who is our next Che Adams? Some people say that Che was a one off but I don't think so. Che was just the first to make it big. There are several other players who have moved on with sell on clauses that could eventually bring in more revenue for the Club. We now have one player in particular who in my opinion is very similar to Che and that is Luis Rose. Like Che he didn't burst onto the scene but he just keeps getting better and better. He will play wherever and always gives 100%.  He has got stronger and steadily improved so that now many fans are recognising his quality.

Re: The next Che Adams

Good luck to Luis Rose on trial at Derby County this week. Derby are one of several clubs who have been showing an interest. Meanwhile Che Adams scored for Birmingham City last night in their 2-1 defeat at Preston.
