    Another player who I thought would thrive and succeed at step  three  with Ilkeston Town. He was my pick for Player of the Year last season. It will be a fresh start for him and I am confident he will make his mark but Belper have had a tough start to life in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Plus he is on a seasons loan so could be back in an Ilson shirt at some point!

    Hes had a go at step 3 with matlock and they bomb him out and hes missed most of pre season with a broken ankle.

    Good bit of work by dave to get him off the wage bill
