Something happened in the Leiston v Rushden match
AFC Rushden & Diamonds @AFCRD Due to an incident towards the end of the game, with the referee suspending play. The club will be making no comment and there will be no interviews tonight.

I saw that but it seems strange that Rushden would say that they won't be making a statement if it was nothing to do with them. I'm only guessing but it sounds to me like Rushden have some involvement.

Leiston have made a statement saying there is an allegation of racial abuse from a Leiston fan. It’s a shame for Leiston because having met their club officials they are lovely people and if one of their fans has let them down they will be rightly embarrassed.
