Saturday’s Premier Central Round-Up  

Barwell 1  Bromsgrove 1
Basford 2 Needham Market 1

Kings Langley 2  Hednesford  1
Leiston  2  Tamworth  1
Nuneaton  2  Ilkeston  0

After two straight defeats Tamworth are no longer runaway leaders with Nuneaton Leiston and Coalville now able to catch them . Tamworth scored first at Leiston but the hosts scored twice either side of half time. 
Nuneaton consolidated 2nd position beating Ilkeston 2-0
Coalville only managed a draw and their equaliser came late after Stratford’s Joshua Hawker had been dismissed. 
St Ives were the only away winners after coming from behind at Bedford, It was Bedford’s 10th defeat not helped by Drew Richardson's red card after 26 minutes.
Hitchin beat FA Cup heroes Alvechurch despite Lewis Barker seing red.
In the top half of the table Redditch United beat Mickleover 2-1 to go above them. 
At the wrong end of the table Royston beat Rushden & Diamonds 2-1 and Kings Langley beat Hednesford  2-1. 
Kings Langley's winner by Jordan Parkes came in added time. 
Sidney Kerr of Barwell was the earliest dismissal of the day on 23 minutes
Highest attendance of the day, 610, was at Nuneaton while Leiston's attendance of 301 was their highest of the season.

This league is soooooo tight we are only 4pts off the bottom four but only 7pts off the 5th place the final play off place... Weird league ........

Weekend Review - Premier Central
Leaders Tamworth travelled to Suffolk to play 3rd place Leiston and went down 2-1 with goals from Ryan Jarvis & Joseph Marsden, 2nd place Nuneaton Borough closed the gap to 4pts and a game in hand, the other big game saw Redditch United come from behind to beat Mickleover 2-1 with goals from Max Sheaf and a 88th minute winner coming from Reece Flanagan.
At the other end of the table we saw wins for Royston town 2-1 Winners over second from bottom AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Kings Langley beating bottom of the table Hednesford Town 2-1 also and Our FA Cup Hero’s from Alvechurch going down to defeat at Hitchin Town by the same score, other games saw wins for Bashford Utd over Needham Market, St Ives Town winning 3-1 away to Bedford Town, Rushall Olympic winning 2-0 at home to Stourbridge. The games between Barwell and Bromsgrove Sporting and Coalville Town and Stratford Town finished 1-1. Top attendance went to Nuneaton Borough with 610.
