    Ilkeston v Halesowen Town March 19th LIVE UPDATES

    Ilkeston will be looking to break the run of defeat that they have suffered in th Evo Stik league in recent weeks. The Robins realistically need six points to avoid relegation and today's game is one that they should have a chance of winning.

    Today's others game are:-
    Barwell v Ashton U
    Blyth S v Matlock T
    Colwyn Bay v Grantham Town
    Darlington 1883 v Rushall Olympic
    Hyde United v Skelmersdale
    Mickleover Sports v Ramsbottom U
    Salford C v Marine
    Whitby v Buxton
    Workington v Stourbridge

    Ilkeston will hope that Buxton can do us a favour and beat Whitby and then perhaps Ramsbottom could do the unexpected and defeat our local rivals Mickleover Sports. Better still we could win all our remaining games so we are not looking over our shoulders. If we lose today we could find ourselves down in seventeenth place!

    Desperate first half where a very young Ilkeston team let in three early goals leaving themselves a mountain to climb. For the first time this season heads seemed to drop and many fans feared the worst. However fought hard in the second half and had the upper hand for most of the half. Atkinson came on to score a consation goal late on but Ilkeston will now be looking to see where their next point is coming from. It is going to be a very nervous end to the season for all at IFC!
