Our next match is a really tough one against fellow promotion hopefulls Coalville Town who have only lost one of their last ten matches. They beat league leaders Tamworth 1-0 in their last match.
They have an outstanding away record ; Played 9, Won 6, Drawn 2, Lost 1.
An Ilkeston win would put them level on points with Coalville although Coalville have played four games less.
Coalville are still in the FA Trophy and they have a 4th round match against Banbury United this Wednesday before they play against us. Hopefully, the Banbury match will take it’s toll and reduce their effectivenes at the NMG three days later.

Ilkeston v Coalville is Andrew Nally's first game as Chairman and Ilkeston's match is one of several interesting games this weekend.. Here's hoping for an Ilkeston win and the other top five teams drop points

As Supporters we really need to get behind the team and get Andy's tenure off to a flyer. Our next two matches against promotion contenders Coalville and Leiston are massively important and two wins would put us back in the frame for a playoff challenge. We have the players to do it. In my opinion this is the best squad we've ever had and If Leroy Lita does what he's been brought in to do, ie. starts scoring goals we can be unstoppable.
The top five may think we're too far behind but we still have 17 matches to play. We're unbeaten in our last five so we have the launch pad to start the long winning run that we need. Our next two results are crucial.
I think 74 points are needed to get us into the playoffs. We now have 38 points so we need another 36 points from 17 matches. 12 wins will do it. Never give up. We still have hope.

Yesterday Coalville offered to play the tie at their ground tonight (Thursday) which would have been great from an Ilkeston point of view but the FA rejected the offer
Coalville Town FC @CoalvilleTownFC
The FA have advised the fixture cannot be reversed and played at ours tomorrow but instead has been scheduled for Tuesday 31st still at Banbury United. Our league game against Rushall will be rescheduled for a later date.

Weekend Match Preview
The weather forecast for this coming weekend is promising and we may get actually get some matches in the Pitching In Southern Football League played!
The Premier Division Central, in common with most other Trident Leagues, has been pretty dormant in recent weeks. Only St Ives Town managed to get their midweek game on against Alvechurch on their 3G and ran out 3-1 winners. That defeat leaves Ian Long’s Alvechurch side in fourth-from-bottom spot, making their game at the Race Stadium against second-from-bottom Hednesford Town a real `six-pointer` - even at this stage of the season. The Pitmen will still be reeling from their 9-1 hammering by leaders Tamworth in one of only a handful of games that took place last weekend.
Hednesford’s Danny Glover is certainly not finding his first managerial post an easy one.The same could be said for bottom-makers AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who are a point behind Hednesford with two games in hand.
And Chris Nunn’s side also face a crucial relegation battle on Saturday when fast-falling Stratford Town visit Hayden Road.
The Bards haven’t won in eleven league games stretching back to October 22nd when they beat Needham Market 4-2 at the Arden Garages Stadium.
Diamonds have won just the once since Nunn took over and they haven’t played since January 7th when they lost 3-1 at Ilkeston Town.
Kings Langley, who sit just a place and 4 points above the bottom four, also have an important game on Saturday when the team immediately above them in the table, Barwell, journey down to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium.
Kings were beaten 2-1 at play-off chasers Rushall Olympic last weekend, while the Canaries – two points in front of their hosts with two games in hand - made it back-to-back home draws last Saturday when they shared a 2-2 stalemate with Basford United.
Tamworth possesses a three-point advantage over Nuneaton Borough at the top of the table, with Rushall a point behind Boro in third. Leiston in fourth have games in hand on the three teams above them and trail the Lambs by 6 points. Coalville Town, who hold the final play-off spot, trail Leiston by seven points but do have two games in hand on them.
The top five are all in action on Saturday, with Andy Peaks` Tamworth travelling to Greenwich Avenue to take on mid-table Basford United, Nuneaton welcoming Stourbridge to Liberty Way, Rushall journeying to ninth-placed Mickleover’s Dom Amott Arena, Leiston at home to St Ives and Coalville having arguably the toughest test when as they take on seventh-placed Ilkeston Town at the Microlise New Manor Ground – the Robins having not lost in five. Hitchin Town, in sixth, will be hoping Coalville slip up and they beat a Bedford Town side who have lost three and drawn one of their last four matches in order to move into the play-off spots.

Coalville, haven’t played since 7th January when they beat Tamworth 1-0.
Their three weeks without a game could give us an advantage.
Coalville Town FC@CoalvilleTownFC
Ok, so lets try again… For the first time in three weeks we will finally get back on the pitch away at Ilkeston Town this Saturday. Your support will be vital as always to help the lads shake off any rust, see you there
Coalville have won their last three league matches and they've only been beaten by three clear goals once.
That was by us back in September.

Once again due to ITFC media staff absences, WhiteBall is probably the best place for match updates from tomorrows important game.
Just heard Danny and Harry will be at the match so ITFC Twitter coverage should be back to normal. Also heard that the Non League Paper are covering the game.

I'm in the hospitality room but I'm hearing that Coalvile's keeper has been sent off in strange circumstances.
All of the Coalville officials are livid. I'm told that there was an exchange of words between Doyle-Charles and his keeper and as a esult the Keeper saw red.
