    Alnwick Town v Newcastle Chemfica Fri 03:02:23

    My new local non league team Alnwick Town are at home to Newcastle Chemfica tonight at 7:30. Alnwick’s last two home games have both been cancelled after the opposition could not raise a team. The latest info suggests tonight’s game is still on and it should be a stiff test for Alnwick as Chemfica are a decent side. Alnwick play at St James Park and don black and white stripes although their play can be less sophisticated than the neighbours down the A1!

    1-0 27’ Alnwick take the lead deservedly after a quick break. Keeper made a good but the no9 slotted away the rebound

    Alnwick are still having the best of the play and should be more than two up! They need another goal to be certain of winning this!

    No about 150 to 200 a few more than usual possibly because it was Friday night. Newcastle Blue Star who top the Northern Alliance have got 1000+ gates this season.

    I’ve been too frightened to wear the red and white Ilson scarf as everything up here is black n white and get are full of it! Wearing a scarf which is even vaguely like a Sunderland one is not a good way of making freinds! However just mention you knew John Tudor and they are all over you like a rash. Dan Lowson is still paying for Morpeth though but he’s twice as wide as he used to be.
