Re: Spennymoor v Ilkeston : Live Updates tonight Thursday 6th April

We are approaching kickoff time. Spennymoor look a big and experienced side. I have an excellent view of the pitch. Spenymoor are wearing black and white stripes and Ilkeston are wearing red and blue stripes. The teams are now out.  ilkeston are starting down the slope.   We're off.

Re: Spennymoor v Ilkeston : Live Updates tonight Thursday 6th April

Good work by Leverock as Ilkeston are force to defend. Good cross by Horne forces Ilkeston corner. Good tackle Leverock then good save by Hannis.  Gordon puts Dwyer through on the right  but his cross is intercepted. Ilkeston's attacks are infrequent but dangerous.  20 minutes   0-0.

So far so good for ilkeston. Spenny on top but Hannis is being well protected. Run and shot by Dwyer close but wide. Half hour gone.

Good forward play by Tyrell but he's penalised. Reece Horne is doing really well.  5 minutes to half time. Creditable performance so far.

Early corner for Spenny but Baker clears. Dwyer crosses but its too high. Super interception by Leverock . Tyrell beats keeper to ball but can't stop it going out.  Goal Spennymoor on 55 minutes. Scorer David Dowson.  0-1.

Re: Spennymoor v Ilkeston : Live Updates tonight Thursday 6th April

Good play by Gamblen nearly sets Morris free. Dwyer is proving a thorn in Spenny defence.Much more from Ilkeston going forward than at Buxton.  Some good inter passing but not quite creating opportunities. Second goal for Spennymoor 77minutes, scorer Dowson again.  Ilkeston didn't deserve that but its 0-2.

Re: Spennymoor v Ilkeston : Live Updates tonight Thursday 6th April

It's finished 0-3. Scoreline is a bit harsh on Ilkeston but its another defeat . Not a bad performance overall against the second best team in the league.
