 Fans favourite and Belper Town legend Danny South has re-joined the Nailers for next season. South was a huge influence both on and off the pitch in the Nailers’ promotion season, and while things didn’t go well at the start of the last campaign leading to him joining up with previous manger Grant Black at Ossett United, his return to the Raygar Stadium is a very welcome surprise.
In an interview with Chris Nelson, South said, ‘ I have had a few chats with the gaffer and it sounds promising. I love Belper, it’s my club really and I’m just happy to be back and I can’t wait to get started. ’‘The fans are class and I’ve always been in touch and have always spoken to the chairman and I’m just excited to be back. I just wanted to finish off what I started. It was a bad season last time and I just want to get back up there and get promoted and get where we belong’
