    Apparantly this game was organised by somebody pretending to be from Ilkeston Town and will obviously not take place! Bizarre!

    So it turns out someone was making mischief and presumably trying to make the two clubs look foolish. 
    They managed to put the fixture on the Daventry twitter account and then someone from Ilkeston retweeted it in good faith but without checking that it was correct. 
    Both Daventry and Ilkeston have now removed the mis-information from their Twitter accounts.

    NO GAME ON TUESDAY
    Unfortunately someone has pretended to be from Ilkeston Town & arranged a friendly with us that would have replaced our cancelled game on Tuesday 18th July
    We would like to thank @ilkestontown_fc for their understanding in this matter
