    Unfortunately I will miss this match which should be watched by a four figure crowd. May I say I hope David Hilton gets the welcome he deserves after all that he's done for us.

    With Matchman not being at the game and the Media Team being rather sparse we have not much feedback from the game apart from the score line. Can somebody who was at the game gives us a breakdown of our strengths and weaknesses as we get closer to the start of the league season?

    Back 4 can't defend. Forwards can't score

    Right back looked ok. Don't like Henry at centre half.

    Lita up front on his own. Hallam looks lose. Ward wants to kick everything what moves. Lad from Sheff wed not bad. We must sign Tyson.

    Its going to be a long hard winter for ilkeston town

     Alex, I share your concerns. What’s happened to our big signing James Hurst. Is he injured?  if so that’s two key defenders missing (Hurst and Fenton). In my opinion we definitely need to sign Eli Christie to play central defence. For me he has been the standout trialist.From what I’ve seen so far we are going struggle in the NPL unless Jamie Ward is able to bring in some decent loan players.
