No danger of Ilkeston's match being postponed so everyone is welcome at the NMG.
Without doubt this is our most important pre-season match with several new signings on view.

I suppose this is really a one match pre season for us which isn't good but we have just got to get on with it . Can't really expect anything major today but it will be a good test .

A very watchable match with some excellent play by both sides. Only one goal but plenty of near misses. I can't remember when we last had a clean sheet. Several of the trialists did well so it will be interesting to see who we keep. There were flashes of what Jamie Walker can do and Basile Zottos is starting to look a good acquisition. Jack Tolley made some great penetrating runs so all we lack now is a specialist goalscorer down the middle.
