    Aston United

    Surprisingly Aston United former tenants of the New Manor Ground have withdrawn from all football for the 2027/18 season. The reason given is "restructuring" which will sound familiar to all Ilkeston fans. The announcement came as a shock due to the fact that there were no warnings and they have aquired a new ground at Abbotsford and had announced a schedule of pre season freindlies. Strangely there had been rumours of a merger with a new Ilkeston side for next season. All in all a strange turn of events which we have no doubt not heard the last oo!
