    Alnwick Town v Burradon and New Fordley 30 th August 2023

    This is the first really big game of the season for Alnwick Town. The result tonight will be a good indication of Alnwick’s chances of winning the league and progressing to the Northern League. Losing won’t be the end of the world at this stage of the season but a win will send a message to all the other title contenders and boost confidence within the club!

    Alnwick have the ball in the net on 3’ but judged offside 0-0 3’

    End to end stuff and a bit firstly at times. Burradon have some big units in their side but Alnwick have the more cultured footballers. 0-0  24’

    Burradon hit the bar with a cross cum shot! Close  0-0 27’

    No goals at half time! Very even so far Burradon had a good shout for a penalty but Alnwick enjoying some good possession!
