    Jamie Walker scored his fiftieth goal for Ilkeston Town on Saturday and Zak Goodson made his fiftieth start. Congratulations!

    Jamie Walker is an outstanding player at this level. Whilst the defenders rightly took the plaudits for a superb rear guard performance on Saturday, all teams need a player who can score the goals which give them something to defend. What sets Jamie apart is that he finishes a high proportion of his chances. Nine goals from nine appearances this season is a superb effort.

    I do believe he is! Definitely since the club last reformed!
