Meeting with Alan Hardy & Steve Chettle : Friday 11 Aug, 7 30 pm start

Hope as many fans as possible will attend this Friday's meeting at the Clubhouse. It's our chance to hear about the exciting plans of Alan Hardy and Steve Chettle and to ask questions. The admission charge of £5 or £3 concessions is a contribution towards the cost of the curry meal being provided. Just give Kelly a ring on 07464 605235 and she will put your name down. All fans are encouraged to attend. Please spread the word to those without internet or social media access.

Due to the unfortunate adverse reaction from some supporters Anthony Redwood has now cancelled the curry meal and made the meeting free of charge. He said this afternoon that he hopes that 100 plus will now attend the meeting to show their support for the new club. People attending will be able to see the improvements to the ground which have been made so far.

I spoke with Anthony this evening and he told me the reason why the £5 admission had been dropped and it wasn't solely because of an adverse reaction to the charge. Please Mr Attewell, try not to create division when none exists. Anthony & the IFCSG are in the opening exchanges of what has been extremely positive dialog so far. He is thrilled by the commitment of our supporters and we are doing everything we can to make Friday night as well attended as possible. We were doing just that before Anthony decided to drop the curry/£5 offer. Please try to be as constructive about our supporters as Anthony & the IFCSG's relationship is becoming.

Division does still exist but I do believe it is starting to dissipate. We are all on the same road and eventually we will all be on the same bus! It's getting there but we all have to let go and perhaps just give each other a big hug! As the great Nick Lowe said what's so funny about peace, love and understanding?
