    Our Derbyshire neighbours Alfreton Town have made a solid start to the season and are now 5th in the National League North after beating Farsley Celtic on Saturday. 
    In the FA Trophy 2nd round proper they have been drawn against Macclesfield at home. This will be the second time they have been drawn against Robbie Savage’s team as they also came out of the hat together in the FA Cup 4th qualifying round draw. On that occasion Alfreton triumphed 3-1.
