JEPSON AND HOLMES TO STAY FOLLOWING APPROACH

Managerial duo look to build on good start...Following an official approach from a unnamed Step 3, Southern League club this week, Basford United is delighted to confirm that manager James Jepson and assistant Danny Holmes have turned down the offer and will continue their excellent start to life in the Greenwich Avenue dugout. Commenting, owner Chris Munroe said: "Having personally appointed James and Danny, and having received the approach earlier this week, I'm delighted that James and Danny have taken this decision and trust the vision for our first team. "Whilst there is a lot of hard work ahead of us, especially throughout the remainder of this season, the start that Jeppo and Danny have had, together with the players, gives me and, hopefully our fan base, much hope that we are trending in the right direction."
