    We end November with a difficult home game against Guiseley who are three places above us and have three more points than us.

    Guiseley's record to date:  P18, W8, D5, L5,  F33,  A31, Pts 29
    Guiseley's away record.:    P 9,  W2, D4, L3,  F11,  A17, Pts 10. 

    Their away wins were at Bamber Bridge and Warrington Rylands
    Their away draws were at Hyde, Lancaster, Morpeth and Worksop
    Their away defeats were at Gainsborough, FC United and Macclesfield 

    Guiseley’s best results were home wins against Marine 4-2 and Matlock 4-0.  

    They lost last Saturday 1-5 at Macclesfield so will be looking to bounce back against Ilkeston.

    Tuesday night fixtures  (28th Nov '23)
    Bamber Bridge v Worksop
    Hyde v Gainsborough
    Ilkeston v Guiseley
    Lancaster v Whitby
    Marine v Workington
    Stafford v Atherton Colls



    Ilkeston are in 11th place and are on 26 points so a win against Guiseley who are on 29 points would put us above them on goal difference. We could also go above Marine (26 points) and Whitby (27 points) if they fail to win their matches against Workington and Lancaster.

    Gabriel Johnson is Guiseley’s top scorer with 17 goals in 20 appearances (12 goals in the league) including hat-tricks against Marine and Workington 

    6’ 7” Ex-Alfreton striker Tom Denton has scored 8 goals in 16 appearances

    It's MATCHDAY again. 


    A win against a good Guiseley side who have only lost 5 of their 18 matches would really lift spirits before another difficult game at Marine on Saturday.

    Marshall shot diverted for a corner.    It's headed away easily by a defender.    Wow!  almost another own goal by Guiseley defender as the ball just goes by the post.. Ilkeston are making an effort now.       1-3.    80 mins
