Zak Goodson Departs.
Following discussions this week between Zak Goodson and the club, both the club and Zak have reached a mutual agreement to allow him to explore other footballing opportunities. We extend our best wishes to Zak for the future.
Expectations were high when Zak returned but for whatever reason the forward never recaptured the form that he showed previously.

Belper Town are delighted to have completed the signing of prolific forward Zak Goodson from Ilkeston Town. The much sought after 23 year old has been on Lee’s radar for a number of years and we are excited to see him in a Belper shirt. Welcome to the club Zak!

When Zak was first with us it was ideal for him as they way we played worked for him. It was the time we were playing some really good football with Remaye and Trokie were doigntheir work on the left then it was switched over to Zak who was mainly one on one on the right . Its been different this season plus he come across bigger and harder defenders . At Radcliffe a defender gave him a big shoulder charge which he thought he should have a got a free kick . He went a bit quiet after that then got subsituted .
I certainlty wish him well and all the best for the future , Belper will be good for him ....
