    New striker for the Robins

    Tom Cursons, 22 year old, 6'3" striker. Another ex-Long Eaton player. Looks like he joined Long Eaton in November 2022 and scored 10 in 25 games to the end of the season (Jamie Walker got 23 that season and Alex Marshall got 9). And looks like he's scored half a dozen for Barwell this season (in the same league as Mickleover and Long Eaton), so looks like he's got an eye for goal and he is scoring at Step 3 level.     According to Southern League stats he has played 23 games for Barwell this season

    Again i will hold back on any thoughts until Tom gets a three or four games under his belt , but if he can hold the ball and attack defenders when they have the ball i will be happy . Not having a striker like this means the ball just comes back at you far to quickly ......O and a few goals would be nice , maybe a few tomorrow ....
