Saturday 26th August sees Ilkeston travel to Bolehall Swift's ground at Tamworth to play Lichfield City. If you are unable to travel to the game then follow the live updates here on Whiteball. Ilkeston will be keen to make up for their disappointing defeat at Stafford Town on Tuesday night. Litchfield drew 5-5 with Heath Hayes in their fist game. They beat Coventry Alvis 3-0 and lost to Bolehall Swifts 3-1.

The lone stand is behind the goal and doesn't have much height so it's going to be very difficult to see any detail at the far end of the pitch. It's 20 minutes before kickoff.

Ilkeston have the advantage of a slight slope in the second half but need to play much better. Ilkeston supporters at the far end of the ground said we should have had a penalty but it was too far away for me to see. The Ilkeston players are back out early no doubt with their ears ringing after an unacceptable first 45 minutes. Second half is now underway

Its finished 2-2. Poor first half followed by exciting second half. Highlight of the first half was the excellent goal by Lichfield, a stunning turn and volley into the top corner. This was matched by Gibson's goal to make it 2-2 but despite the second half revival it was another two points dropped. We have to win these games if we're hoping to get promotion.
