Nuneaton resign from Southern League

.
NUNEATON BOROUGH - RESIGNATION FROM THE LEAGUE

The following is a statement from the League

In accordance with League Rules, notice of resignation from Nuneaton Borough FC has been received, and will take immediate effect.
The League has been working closely with the Club over the last few months whilst they worked on a Club Survival Plan that complied with League Rules and Regulations. However, events this week at the Club have unfortunately resulted in them making this decision. The League is sad and disappointed to lose a Member Club in such circumstances and acknowledges the efforts of those at the Club in trying to resolve matters. The records of the Club this season will be expunged next week and the League has no further statement to make at this time.

We regret to announce that Nuneaton Borough FC will be withdrawing from this season's Southern Central Premier League. Despite the dedicated efforts of our sponsors and officials, the club faces insurmountable challenges in maintaining operations. Our legal advisors have confirmed that the offer put forward to purchase Liberty Way will not be considered, and no new lease will be given to any entity.
