Alex Marshall puts in a dangerous cross but it's missed by everyone. Then good chance falls to Alex Marshall but he puts it wide after picking up a loose ball in the area. Promising start by Ilkeston. 15 minutes

Excellent updates! Any news on subs and opposition line up?

Decent all round team performance today and in the end a comfortable win. There was some switching around of players by Steve as he looks for his best line up. Deakin in goal brought some order to the defence. Wing backs Lavell White and Jamie Walker both looked good going forward and White took his goal very well after being found by Robinson. Jemson looks to be a class player in the making and Lench provides the solidity needed in the team. Hodgett-Young is composed at all times. Tom Marshall was moved up front and showed that he'll play anywhere. Alex Marshall and Montel Gibson are our goal threat and it was Alex who got a brace today. My man of the match was Billy Bennett who created loads of openings with some excellent work down the left flank. It was good not to be chasing the game. Getting the first goal often sets the tone for the rest of the game. The players we have are now starting to gel so hopefully we will become more consistent and pick up more points.

Stats info required Mr Matchman, hope you can help? What shirt number did Ian Hopkinson wear as sub? Who else got a yellow card other than Alex M? And did any of our lads get yellows at Lichfield, and do you know of any substitutions? Sorry to bombard you!

Duncan : Last season in the Northern Premier League, team sheets were always made available at every game. This season in the Midland Football League I have yet to see one. If you have a team sheet then you know all the players and substitutes by their numbers and you can pencil in goal times, substitution times, yellow card times etc,. Without a team sheet one simply cannot keep up with everything that's happening during the game. In my updates I have been forced to just report on the game's progress as I personally see it and without a lot of detail . I apologise for not being able to give you the statistics you require but with no team sheet it is almost impossible. My updates are aimed at supporters who cannot attend and are most interested in the live progress of the game. I do my best with sometimes little or no information .
