Almost a good cross under pressure by Jamie Walker but it lands on the net. Good start by Ilkeston but no openings yet. Bolehall look a decent side 5 minutes

Bennett gets a shot in in but Smith saves. Then Smith saves from Alex Marshall after he makes room for a shot. Both teams are passing well but Ilkeston are creating the chances. Another good run by Jamie Walker.

Bolehall disappointed with the penalty decision but Ilkeston deserve to be ahead. Swifts keeper Phil Smith is on form. I shouldn't have said that . He immediately makes a mess of Marshall's shot and it's 2-0. 41 minutes

Ball just runs away from Gibson and keeper gathers.

More goal threat from Ilkeston but Bolehall manage to eventually clear. Bennett brought down when approaching Bolehall Penalty D. Free kick headed inches over. Another fine Ilkeston move but Swifts escape again. Then lively Bennett fires over 55 minutes 2-0

Excellent double save by Smith. It's all Ilkeston at the moment. Another great move but Gibson can't quite turn the cross into the net. Hour gone

.Chris Shaw rightly booked for too strong challenge on Fortune Siranda. 61 minutes Wheatley replaces Bennett
Offline
Gibson rounds the keeper but angle is too acute. Should have scored. 65 minutes
68 minutes Bolehall substitution Sorenson replace by Obi

Ilkeston are carving Bolehall open at will but it's still only 2-0. Free kick to Bolehall in good position. Good overhead effort by Swifts forward but Deakin takes it like a pass back. Gate announced 595.
Offline
Good defending header by Chris Shaw. Yet another fine save by Smith for Bolehall. Ilkeston are having loads of near misseLovely back heel by Gibson but we can't capitalise. Hopkinson replaces Gibson on 78 minutes.

Bolehall goal is having a charmed life. So many near misses. 82 minutes still 2-0

Alex Marshall replaced by Micah Edwards on 86 minutes. Free kick Ilkeston on wide edge of area. Keeper collects. Another Ilkeston chance goes begging. Two nil is a poor return for Ilkeston's dominance.

It's Finished ILKESTON 2 BOLEHALL SWIFTS 0.

Ilkeston totally dominated the game and created and missed numerous chances. Very flattering scoreline for Bolehall who were outplayed.

Spoke to some of the Bolehall officials at the match. They gave me an indication of what it's like running a club like theirs. Bolehall is part of Tamworth and they have gates of around 50. They find it difficult to get sponsors due to their lack of support. Any potential sponsors prefer to back Tamworth FC who play in the Conference North and get gates of around 700. What they do have is a few dedicated officials who keep the club going .
