Mickleover play Grantham tonight Tuesday 5th Sep. kick off 7 45pm in the Northern Premier League. These two teams have a few of our old players including Danny Gordon (Mickleover) and Matt Baker (Grantham). I will be attending this match so for anyone interested I will provide score updates throughout the game.

Plenty of ex Ilkeston players involved tonight. Matt Baker, Luke Shaw, Curtis Burrows playing for Grantham and Olly Luto is a sub. Danny Gordon, Evan Garnett and Ben Morris are all on the bench for Mickleover.

Grantham striker Hempenstall booked after colliding with Mickleover keeper. The game is getting lively. Grantham have the edge but Mickleover have come closest to scoring. Grayson now booked for Mickleover. Still no score after 25 minutes

Matt Baker booked on 26 minutes. Grantham free kick in good position. Burrows takes but it's saved. GOAL for Mickleover 30 minutes Brad Grayson. 1-0

Good spell for Mickleover following the opening goal. Grantham break away but Pablo Mills to the rescue. Terrific run by Andy Dales for Mickleover but ball is cleared for a corner. Mills get his head on the corner but its inches over. Five minutes to half time. Mickleover are on top now.

Mickleover deservedly ahead. Grantham started strongly and looked the better side but Mickleover gradually took control and have created several scoring chances. Grantham look dangerous on the break so this game could go either way. Pablo Mills has been very impressive at the back for Mickleover.

Great effort by Zeph Thomas but Grantham keeper tips it round post. Good build up by Grantham but no one can get on the end of the cross. Still 1-0 55 minutes

Grantham penalty appeal turned down. Jake Scott booked for Mickleover. 65 minutes 1-0.

Zeph Thomas is an ex Robin too and is Liam Walsh playing for Mickleover? What about Luke Shaw and Curtis Burrows are have you already mentioned them?

Free kick Grantham on edge of area. Deflected out for a corner . Mickleover scramble it away. Looked like a pen for Grantham but ref gives it the other way. Frantic finish.
