Alnwick Town retuned to action at St James Park in very windy conditions aiming to to get to the final of a competition they won last season. Lower league Gosforth Bohemians however were no walkover and despite getting an early goal through Ross Straughan Alnwick seemed to have difficulty breaking dow a well organised Bohs defence. A fine strike from super sub Jamie Clark calmed the home side nerves when he settled the late in the second half. Another final and still in with a chance of catching league leaders Wallington but Alnwick will be puzzled at hard work it is to beat teams at present.
