Good Friday football

Ashton are home to Whitby today. It's been a busy last six days for Ashton. Last Saturday they had an incredible 5-2 win at Radcliffe. Then on Tuesday night they lost 0-2 at home to Macclesfield

Ashton United move up to 6th and Whitby bow out of the playoff race.

Ashton's decision to move Saturdays match to Good Friday appears not to have paid off because the attendance of 317 is well below their average gate of 378.
