Prior to that Leicester's Holt  thought he should have had a free kick but it wasn't given.

Terrific equaliser by Nuno Gomes  on 23 minutes. Ball thudded against under side of crossbar before bouncing up into the net. Superb goal.   1-1

Re: Ilkeston v Leicester Road : Live Updates

Shot by Lavell White but it's saved. First Ilkeston shot for a while.  Leicester Road deserve to be level on play so far. They have had far more efforts on goal. Highland tips over header. Scramble on goal line but Leicester eventually clear.

Langham misses a sitter for Leicester. Could that be a turning point?  Bennet replaced by Wheatley.  and Ben Clark on for Shaw.

Re: Ilkeston v Leicester Road : Live Updates

Leicester are timing out the game and Ilkeston can't do anything about it. Nothing going our way. Kingsley- Smith booked for Leicester.

Re: Ilkeston v Leicester Road : Live Updates

Disappointing result today after last Saturday. But football is a game of ups and downs and it is inevitable that sometimes games don't go to plan. Leicester Road have some good players and were worth their win. Nuno Gomes was outstanding and his first goal was a magnificent finish.
