Northern Premier League Step 4 playoffs

Sounds like a cracking match between Stockton and Dunston in the NPL East playoff final.
Stockton were always behind but took the game to extra time then penalties. They trailed 0-2 and 1-3 before equalising six nminutes into added time. They then went behind in extra time but found another equaliser. Stockton then won the penalty shootout 4-2.
In the NPL Midlands playoff final Harborough won by 2-0 at Anstey Nomads with Luis Rose scoring Harborough’s second goal in added time.
In the NPL West final Prescot Cables beat City of Liverpool
So likely to be promoted to NPL Premier are:
Hebburn Town NPL East Champions)
Stockton Town. (NPL East playoff winners)
Prescot Cables (NPL West playoff winners)
Likely to be promoted to Southern Premier Central are:
Leek Town (NPL West Champions)
Spalding Utd (NPL Mids Champions)
Harborough Town (NPL Mids playoff winners)
I think Ilkeston will remain in the Northern Prenier League but planty of other people expect us to get moved back to the Southern League.

Boston United won the National League North playoff final against Brackley.
Boston finished 6th in the league table with 13 points less than 2nd placed Scunthorpe.That’s what can happen in the playoffs

You're right Alex . My Mistake. I was thinking Leek was south of Ilkeston and it's not.
If Leek go into the NPL then that could cause Ilkeston to be moved back into the Southern League.
Apologies for my poor geography. I now understand why people are saying Ilkeston could go back to the Southern League. But it could be Basford that get moved rather than Ilkeston.
