The big play off game in the Northern Premier League pits second placed Macclesfield against third placed Marine. The game will be played at Moss Rose the home of Macclesfield on Bank Holiday Monday with a refreshingly old fashioned 3 pm kick off. The clubs have already met twice this season and Macclesfield won both games 2-1 and they were watched by an impressive combined audience of 4500 fans. John Rooney, younger brother of Wayne Rooney, scored in both these games for Macclesfield. In the play off semi finals Macclesfield defeated Worksop Town 3-1 and Marine defeated Warrington Rylands 1-0.

Well the club thought they would buy their way through the season but didnt happen. Gutted for their fans but not for the club. Treat the away fans with contempt not caring nit a jot.
