Macclesfield lost in the play off final so we have the pleasure of playing against them again next season.

Kane Drummond has signed for Chesterfield
He scored for Macclesfield in the 1-1 draw at the NMG.

FORWARD SIGNS FOR SPIREITES
An agreement has been reached with Kane Drummond for the forward to join the Spireites on a 12-month deal following the expiry of his contract at Macclesfield.The 23-year-old was with Liverpool as a youngster before joining the Robbie Fowler Academy.He was signed by Macclesfield from Warrington Rylands in November 2022 and scored 19 goals in the season just finished.After agreeing to join the Spireites in a deal which is subject to approval from the relevant authorities, Drummond said: “It’s a big opportunity for me and my family – I’m made up. It’s a life-changing opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.“These opportunities don’t come around a lot. This club is everything I believe in. I just want to push on, go on the pitch and make [Paul Cook] proud.“I can’t wait to get on the pitch and show the fans what I am made of.”
