Container destroyed in suspected 'arson' 

A Leicestershire football club’s equipment container has been destroyed by a fire. Anstey Nomads believe its container at Ratby Sports Club, in Ratby, was targeted in an arson attack.The container with equipment inside that is used to set up the pitches, including corner flags, respect barriers and goal nets has been burnt down. The club’s vice chairman, Conrad Logan, said the damage done by the fire could amount to around £5000.

The club first became aware of the incident on Monday (June 25) morning but believe the incident happened a day earlier.
