We all know that player loyalty cannot be taken for granted. Promoted Leek Town also lost some of their key players. Of course there are reasons other than money that persuade players to switch clubs.
But it says a lot that we at Ilkeston have been able to keep the players we wanted from last season. Ian Deakin must be doing something right.
