2024-25

Alnwick Town will soon make their second debut in the Northern League. After finishing second in the Northern Alliance they were promoted to the Northern League Division Two. It will be  big step up for the Wick but they did have probably the best ground in the Northern alliance and probably the best support. The 472  crew will be crucial to the team as they take on a much better standard of opposition.

Re: 2024-25

So only a few days to the kick off of the new season for Alnwick Town. The Wicks first game back in the Northern League is a tough away game at Jarrow. There has been little news on the player front on social media so far although the pre season has been a mixed bag of sizeable wins with a few heavy defeats. Unfortunately the Northern League do not publish team line ups so my stats may have to depend on communication with the club. The club are having to produce a physical programme which will be a pleasant and nostalgic return to the old days. Before Saturdays game I will review the pre season and start to look at the runners and riders in the Northern League Division Two.
