We’ve gone through the 200 barrier for season ticket sales for the 3rd year in a row. You have 10 days left to secure your ticket at the early bird rate of £180 for adults and £125 for concessions and students. On 1st August, prices rise to £200 and £140. Buy now!

Interesting but when you get a gate of 700 and 200 are season tickets then you have 50 freebies. 100 kids in aswell.
I think we have the right idea.
We then know what money is coming in.

I think the club would not turn its nose up at nearly £40,000 up front pre season. I see your point about regular cash coming in but it would be interesting to work out how many games it would take us to realise £40,000. From afar the club seems buoyant and their biggest assets would appear to be Ian Deakin and his staff, the 4G pitch and the NMG and most of all the supporters. The clubhouse now seems to be used to its potential and the juniors are bringing in the youngsters and their parents. The club possibly needs to build on the steady progress they made last year and I think aim for a play off spot although promotion may be a step too far for the infra structure. As I say as an outsider it looks good!

I think you are correct Alex. We lost the Academy and U23 Reserves when we were less financially secure and we basically sold the lot to Clifton All Whites. When we had our Academy under Kevin Wilson we were a groundbreakers in that players that played for us saw it as a gateway back into the Football League. Kevin had good contacts and picked up a lot of players who were ditched by their League clubs because of financial restrictions or just a lack of foresight. At the time we were one of the very few non league who doing this so we attracted a lot of very good prospects ie Che Adams etc. whether now an Academy in a more crowded market would be as successful is debatable.
Even the media team has in recent years seen staff move on to bigger things. Lewis Allsopp once of this parish was filming Naga Munchetty at the Election count in Ashington on live telly in front of millions. He generally works for BBC Radio 4 and is often mentioned after prime time radio shows. I always add “another Ex Robin”.
