Saturday we go to one of the best grounds in the league to face FC United of Manchester. Last season we went there full of confidence after winning our opening three matches and despite playing well we were beaten 1-0. That was a night match and this time it's a 3pm kickoff.
Again we go there in optimistic mood following our wonderful win at Mickleover.
This season Ilkeston have 4 points after 2 matches and FC United have 3 points from their 2 matches. They won their opening game at Morpeth but then lost to Worksop. It’s going to be another tough game in front of a 1500 crowd.

Adam Le Fondra is a FC United player this season. Here is a piece on his signing:
FC United of Manchester have announced the remarkable capture of former Premier League striker Adam Le Fondre.
Le Fondre spent time on trial at the club during pre-season and has reportedly turned down interest from the Football League and higher up the non-league pyramid to make the move to Broadhurst Park. The 37-year-old spent last season in the Scottish Premier League with Hibernian.
FC United becomes the 12th club Le Fondre has featured for during his decorated career - and it will also be his first time outside of a full-time footballing
He famously made over 400 appearances in the Football League and helped Reading to promotion to the Premier League in 2011/12. He went on to score 12 goals during his first season with the Royals in the top flight. Averaging 124 minutes per goal in the Premier League, he is statistically the fourth-most prolific finisher in Premier League history - behind only Thierry Henry, Sergio Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho.
The experienced forward also enjoyed success in the Australian A-League with Sydney FC, netting 56 goals in 97 appearances and helping the Sky Blues to two A-League titles in as many years.
On the move to FC United, Le Fondre said: “As I was sort of speaking to clubs, a couple of league and a couple of non-league, nothing really spoke out to me project-wise. "This has given me the opportunity to play non-league. FC United of Manchester are a historic club now, even with a short history. “A lot of people know about them and the noise they have made since they have been around. I'm proud to be here.”

I think we go into this game with a stronger team then when we lost at their place last season.

All ready for the action at this super ground. If you've not been here before there's a sloping terrace behind one goal and nicely steeped seating all the way along one side of the pitch.
We're 10 minutes away from kickoff
