All being well there will be live updates here as usual from tomorrow's important league game.
Heather St Johns are 12th in the league table and are 11 points behind us but have played 5 games less than us. In their 10 games played they have won half of them and scored 32 goals and conceded 22. Their wins have been against; Atherstone 4-2, Heath Hayes 5-3, Racing Club Warwick 3-0, Bolehall Swifts 8-0 and Cadbury Athletic 5-2. Their only draw was against Studley 2-2. It looks like being a tight match so if you cannot travel to the game follow the match progress here.

We're off Two early corners to HSJ. Fumbling save by Deakin. then Deakin turns header from corner over. Strong start by physical looking home side. GOAL for HSJ scorer Simeone Colbourne 0-1 6 minutes

Very powerful start by HSJ, they look a really good side. Ilkeston can't get going.
Equaliser Think it was Jemson who headed in. Anyway its 1-1

It's very much end to end. There's likely to be plenty of goals at this rate. Townsend guilty of bad foul but he gets away with it. HSJ are a really tough side. It's difficult for the referee 1-1 25 minutes

You can see why HSJ have scored plenty of goals. They have a powerhouse forward line. Diving save by Deakin keeps out header. GOAL Montel What a header ! Ilkeston lead 2-1 on the half hour

HSJ so close to an equaliser as header hits outside of post. Ilkeston break almost brings a goal but keeper saves well. Great defending by Fairclough. Alex Marshall takes the ball off the keeper and scores Terrible mistake by keeper allows Marshall to walk the ball in. It's 3-1 on 39 minutes.

HSJ forward's shot is just too high as they retaliate. HSJ are stung into action. Ilkeston have had a few narrow escapes . 5 minutes to half time 3-1

It's been an even game and Ilkeston are ahead because they have taken their chances. The game is not over. HSJ are a very good side.

Second half is underway. GOAL Ilkeston . Another mistake by HSJ keeper as he clears the ball but only to Jordan Wheatley who plants it in the net from about 30 yards 4-1

Ilkeston now having defend . Terrific save by Deakin. Then Deakin has to catch under intense pressure. Heather haven't given this game up. Hour gone 4-1.

Fantastic save by Deakin. It's all HSJ at the minute but Ilkeston are holding out. White almost gets another for Ilkeston but ref penalises him when it looked like he was the one fouled.

Ilkeston penalty appeal but rightly rejected. Deakin saves again then catches the corner. Alex Marshall booked for kicking ball away. 77 minutes

HSJ are making a big effort to rescue the game. Morris replaced by Micah Edwards on 81 minutes. Chance for Gibson but he blasts over.

Yet another chance for HSJ but header goes over. Monumental effort by HSJ but Ilkeston win by 4-2. The whistle has gone to end a superb game. What a win for Ilkeston.

It was a really good contest today and at times our defence was severely tested by Heather St Johns robust forward line. There were several excellent Ilkeston performances but my star man has to be Ian Deakin who pulled off some vital saves when required to do so. I rate Heather St Johns as one of the best teams we have played so far.

Official attendance was 143 . Good turnout from Ilkeston easily doubling Heather St Johns normal gate. The shorter travelling distances in this league have encouraged more supporters to go to away games which is appreciated by the team and the Club.
