It's going to be a packed Microlise NMG under the lights as Ilkeston and Hereford go at it again for a place in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round.

I was told Hereford's away support is between 200 and 300. Maybe not so many for an evening game.

They're used to travelling long distances North as they are one of the most southerly teams in the National League North.

If anything the replay will be harder for us to win than the original match at Hereford.
Before Saturday Hereford didn't know anything about us and probably thought it would be an easy game.
Now they know that we're no pushovers so they will be more prepared.

Hereford are currently unbeaten away from home with 2 wins and 2 draws.

The draw for the next round has been made and we have a big incentive to win because Bishop's Stortford has to be seen as a winnable match. The Hereford replay is our biggest game for a while and hopefully the people of Ilkeston and surrounding area will turn out in force to support us.

Victory in tomorrow's replay would earn us £3375. It would also guarantee us at least another £1875 in the next round. That's £5250.

If we beat Hereford and Bishop's Stortford that's when the prize money starts to increase steeply.
£3375 for beating Hereford
£5625 for beating Bishop's Stortford plus another guaranteed £3125 from the next round.

Today is an extra special MATCHDAY as tonight we face National League, Hereford at home in an FA Cup replay

It was great to even be in the FA Cup draw yesterday. Yes we still have to get past Hereford but if we can do it, a lucrative FA Cup run beckons.
We've been drawn away 3 times but we can cope with that. After the short journey to Heanor and the two and half hour trip to Hereford, the FA Cup draw has now given us an even longer trip to Bishop's Stortford if we can see off Hereford.

If we lose tonight the FA Cup is over for another year but it's been a while since we've had a Cup run and this could be the year we've been waiting for.
We came close to winning at Hereford but it will be a different game tonight.
Hereford are favourites but with the crowd behind us we just might pull off a famous win.
Whatever the result, its going to be a brilliant atmosphere and a cracking game that tests the nerves and will end in ecstasy or agony.
