Tuesday Night Football (15th October 2024)

.

Four interesting matches in our league.

Bamber Bridge (14th) v Stockton (12th)
Lancaster (10th) v Guiseley (5th)
Leek  (15th) v Warrington Rylands (22nd)
Macclesfield (1st) v Hebburn (3rd)

The standout match is the top of the table clash between Macclesfield and Hebburn. I expect a Savage win against the upstarts.
Only one point separates Bamber and Stockton so this could go either way.
Lancaster could go above Ilkeston if they win tonight but its a tough ask to beat Guiseley.
After losing their first 5 home league matches Leek got their first home win on Saturday and will be hoping to repeat that result against bottom side Warrington Rylands. Don't know what's gone wrong at Warrington.

Also playing are Gainsborough Trinity who travel to Boston United for their FA Cup 4th qualifying round replay.

After Bamber's 5-1 home defeat  Gary Rowe is suggesting that their players and coaches aren't being paid

 Gary Rowe @Garonne197235m
Another honest interview. Must be difficult for the Coaching Staff and the Players if they aren't being paid!. I believe that the Club has raised ~£16k+ so far. Is the Club not intending to pay these guys anything until all £30k raised Goodwill & Commitment works both ways
