New signing - Alex Hardwick

We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Alex Hardwick, having found the back of the net on 11 occasions for Stocksbridge Park Steels so far this season. Alex will be available for our trip to Warrington this weekend. Welcome, Alex.

Alex Hardwick has signed for @ilkestontown_fc tonight. We would like to wish him the best with his move and thank him for his hard work and performances during his time with the Steels.

Alex Hardwick joined Stocks bridge Park Steels from Carlton Town. - see below:

Stocksbridge Park Steels have bolstered their frontline options with the addition of Alex Hardwick from NPL East Division rivals Carlton Town.
Last season, Hardwick netted 12 in 35 games for the Millers - more than any other player at the club - as the side made the NPL East play-offs.
He arrives at a Stocksbridge side looking to add goals after they netted the third-least in the division last season with 42 in 38 league games.

Alex made his name at Maltby Main but signed for Long Eaton United but in fortunately days later Deaks left and after he had played with most of our present squad including Tom Cursons Alex also left but for Carlton Town where he was top scorer before he moved on again this season to Stocksbridge Park Steels.

At Eastwood last week. Deaks described Alex Hardwick as a cross between Alex Marshall and Tom Cursons. Make of that what you will.
