It is a great pity that apparently one so called supporter has spoiled the reputation of all the other good and valued supporters who travel to every away game. I know many of our away regulars and they will be horrified and saddened by what happened. I was at the match but did not see the incident myself. I did see Montel leaving the ground. He didn't look happy but I put it down to him being substituted.  I have since heard from people who claim to have seen what happened.  I can only hope that the culprit comes forward and personally apologises to Montel and his girlfriend , the Club and to his fellow supporters.
