Bolehall made a decent start to the season and were unbeaten in their first four matches winning against Pershore and Lichfield and drawing against Racing Club Warwick and Cadbury. They then lost to Leicester Road and Chelmsley before beating Nuneaton Griff. Then came a run of defeats starting with Ilkeston, followed by Heather St Johns 0-8, Heath Hayes 0-5 and Coventry Copsewood. They halted this run of reverses by beating Coventry Alvis 4-2 which was their biggest win. They then predictably lost at Studley before bouncing back with a win against Stafford. Their last three games have been losses to Littleton, Chelmsley and most recently Racing Club Warwick.
Bolehall are in 16th place and their record is P17 W5 D2 L10 F20 A42 Points 17
This is a game Ilkeston should expect to win but nothing can be taken for granted. Bolhall's ground and gates are inferior to Ilkeston's but they are a well run Club and looked a reasonable side when we met at the NMG, They will be keen to halt their recent run of defeats and spring a surprise result tomorrow night.
For those who cannot travel there will be the usual live updates here tomorrow.

Ilkeston have been well on top but haven't made many clear cut chances, The goal was a surprise as the free kick was 40 yards out and I don't think it was meant as a shot

That's nine straight wins and four clean sheets in a row. It was a sticky pitch but we totally dominated the game and the result was never in doubt. Choosing a man of the match would be difficult because it was more of a team performance but if pushed I would say Chris Shaw. Shaw dealt with everything at the back leaving Deakin with very little to do. Manager Steve Chettle kept Ilkeston on the offensive with some timely substitutions in the second half. Another goal for Hopkinson. He must have a terrific goals per minute played record.
Atherstone's manager was watching us tonight. They play Walsall Wood on Saturday.

Attendance was 68 and was Bolehalls biggest crowd of the season!

After a recount the attendance has been published as 82 not 68! Forgot the 14 still in the bar no doubt. Still their biggest gate of the season.
